Profile Director of Product, BHFS
The Director of Product for BHFS is responsible for Product Management and the integration of products in the regulated environment, covering EEA region. One of the key roles is to analyze products thoroughly and determining the regulatory impact, before going straight to market. As a Product Director, you are central in bringing all the payments products under the regulated entity as well as the measurement of new payment products (of all Booking brands) in the marketplace, their and their success.
Key strategic focus areas are setting up the product framework, roadmap, governance structure and guiding products into the marketplace.
Ideal experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related discipline.
- 8+ years experience in working in a Product role with 4+ years in a senior Product role in an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) is highly desirable and gives the candidate a distinct advantage.
- Proven track record of leading Product through fast company growth.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-centric business.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- In depth understanding of payments and payments products and FCRM (Financial Crime Risk Management) products
- Experience in product management best practice methodologies with certification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all internal and external business stakeholders and product teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent Customer Service ethos, understands the customer needs.
- Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders. Collaborates, builds partnerships with others to meet shared objectives.
- Solid track record of achievement in your career to date
- Very organised and able to develop and run very structured frameworks and processes
- Results oriented. Proven ability to prioritise projects and initiatives and align to corporate and product goals.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and work independently as well as part of a cohesive team
- An ability to communicate complex issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily-understood, authoritative, and actionable manner
- Excellent presentation skills, especially with senior executive audiences
