With Disney’s growth opportunities and expansion in APAC, this position will play a key role in the development and implementation of strategic growth opportunities for the Consumer Products licensing business. This position will work across franchises such as Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Lucas, National Geographic and collaborate with regional and in-country teams to develop and implement new product opportunities and go-to-market plans to capture whitespace and drive incremental revenue.

Relationships are key to the success of this role, both internally and externally. You will be required to actively manage and cultivate the engagement, partnership and joint business planning with each account, new and existing, ultimately drive and deliver strategic growth in licensing sales in the local and regional market.
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for delivering revenue on product lines and/or categories managed.
Lead category growth within categories such as Toys, Home and Infant and Preschool, through strategies.
Develop local market category plans, identify new business opportunities and developing potential partners to solidify the licensee bases.
Build strong relationships with existing licensees and supporting their business to grow further.
Collaborate with Global Product Creation team on product and assortment strategy.
Develop marketing briefs to support product strategy and partner with marketing teams to create consumer marketing, content and retail programs to support sales promotion and advertising.
Create and present compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate key learnings and recommendations to senior levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 9 years of experience in areas such as Consumer Brands, Retail and/or E-commerce Platforms, preferably with 2+ years of people managing experience.
Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals.
Strong people management skills: ability to inspire, mentor and develop a highly motivated team.
Strong stakeholder management: experience in navigating a matrixed organization and successfully influencing key stakeholders and a wide range of external partners with diverse requirements.
Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
Good understanding of brand and property positioning, retail distribution and environment, and licensees' production and creative capabilities/limitations.
Deep understanding of consumers and ability to develop key insights and use data to tell a story and drive decisions.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze data and construct practical conclusions and recommendations.
Experience across a broad spectrum of retail sectors preferred including fast fashion, lifestyle and cosmetic brands, and/or e-commerce platforms.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
Fluent Korean and business proficient in English.
