Function
Manufacturing execution and plant logistics is a core enabler of our digital manufacturing strategy within our new Digital Operations Team, which creates and realizes business value leveraging digital technologies. This role, will be accountable for the step change in the Operations Management System that is responsible for MES, shopfloor equipment logs, and digital SOP’s. This role will function globally across all our plants and products (Projection, Medical Displays, Digital Operating Room, Video Walls to name a few). It will collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation. Finally, this role will work at multiple organizational levels, from a very tactical & technical level to a senior strategic level.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Process Execution Product Team and collaborate closely across Digital our Manufacturing Division and our Company's global IT organization to ensure a resilient, value driven process execution platform.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year, multi-site technology strategic roadmap for MES and shopfloor logging to progress to a digital shopfloor including electronic Device History Records, with review by exception, and other manufacturing process functions.
- End to end Management of Manufacturing Execution technology stack collaborating closely with platform partners, IT and Process Experts.
- Closely collaborate with Manufacturing Operations and site teams, Plant Maintenance Services, Digital Data Quality and the software team that IT/OT platform groups.
- Oversee and guide future architectures including incorporation of cloud technologies
- Collaborate with Process Experts to enable fit for purpose data integration strategies including process control, production optimization for OEE and plant scheduling.
- Drive implementation standards and delivery roadmap.
- Lead Process Execution process standardization, simplification
- Lead and oversee standardized solution delivery. project and lifecycle management costs.
- Develop and manage a global network of MES super users
- Work closely with ERP team in advancing the managing and advancing the MES – ERP integration.

- Ability to take responsibility to ensure success on any initiative. On critical projects, it instills confidence in others when they know you have a vested interest in the positive outcome, they are all striving toward
- Master in Engineering, Business economics or equivalent
- 4+ years of MES working experience. Preferably in discrete manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of operational technologies in manufacturing, specifically the business use cases for discrete manufacturing of high value product, operator oriented.
- Previous working experience in managing projects.
