Newsprinters (Wodonga) are looking for a new member to join our team as a reel hand and a general factory all-rounder.
Ideally, you will have experience working in a production or warehousing environment as the role involves preparing for print production and warehousing functions. A forklift licence is desired but not essential – for a suitable candidate, we are prepared to offer the necessary training.
You will need to be self-motivated, reliable and ready to work independently, with minimal supervision. It’s a busy environment, and you will need to manage your time well and stay ahead of multiple tasks and deadlines. The job requires attention to detail and tidiness. You will take pride in keeping your work area clean and waste-free as well as assume responsibility for daily preparation according to job sheets, and regular stock control.
The job is full-time, across varying shifts (day and afternoon). We offer a competitive salary and 6.5 weeks annual leave with loading. There is also opportunity for further career and employment pathways for those looking to develop their skills.
