Position: Warehouse Operator
Job Nature: Temporary - 1 person (Part-time)
Hourly Rate: 18 CAD/hour
Working Hours: Regular working days, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekly Working Hours: 16-32 hours, scheduled in advance for the following week based on needs
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist with daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, stacking, and organizing goods.
2. Retrieve or place goods on shelves according to instructions.
3. Use relevant equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, etc., to transport goods to designated locations.
4. Ensure proper classification and labeling of goods.
5. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse, following relevant safety regulations and operating procedures.
Requirements:
1. Good physical health and ability to lift heavy objects. Applicants must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds (approximately 22.7 kilograms).
2. Prior experience in warehouse operations or related work is preferred.
3. Strong teamwork skills and ability to coordinate with other team members.
4. Good communication skills, able to understand and follow instructions from superiors, including comprehending simple English instructions.
5. Attention to detail, responsible, and able to execute tasks accurately.
6. Basic mathematical skills to perform simple calculations and inventory counting.
7. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools such as hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. is preferred.
8. Flexible in scheduling, able to accommodate overtime work as needed.

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
