Essential Responsibilities
- Lead product development team through design control processes from product design planning and requirements definition to product design verification, and transfer to manufacturing
- Support product development team with and contribute to system design documentation and product specifications
- Ensure that product programs achieve the design objectives required to meet quality, regulatory, customer and business needs
- Create and maintain good design documentation, conduct and participate in design reviews
- Interact seamlessly and efficiently in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, global environment
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related computer field
- Experience in developing complex engineering products including software and hardware through the whole product development life cycle
- Experience with requirements management, risk management, test management, defect management and design documentation processes and tools
- Self-starter and quick learner, demonstrated engineering curiosity and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- Legally authorized to work in Finland and willing to work in our Helsinki office full-time
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related computer field
- Product development experience in highly regulated businesses (like medical)
- Experience with standards requirements, standards compliance testing, regulatory submissions/documentation
- Experience in leading peers, teams, or projects
- Experience in starting and leading change improvements initiatives
